UKITF Spring Nationals
Congratulations to everyone who competed at Spring Nationals. For a small club our athletes made a big impact, with every competitor bringing home a medal! As a result, we will be taking 2 athletes to UKITF finals day this year.
European Team Cup/Finals 2026
A very positive event for our club. Hayden picking up silver for individual sparring and securing a win for his team in the European team event. Leah bringing home a silver in sparring and retaining her national title for patterns. Mr Pound won 4th degree patterns as an individual. He was also part of a 4 man team that won team patterns, came second in team sparring and won overall best adult male team.
Master Brungner Seminar
We were pleased to welcome Master Brungner to the region to deliver a seminar on kicking power and technique. A multiple World Champion and coach to many world-level athletes, he brought a wealth of experience and knowledge to the session.
Several of our students attended and represented the club well, displaying a very good standard of Tae Kwon Do throughout.
It was a positive event for the region and a great opportunity for students to learn from one of the sport’s most accomplished practitioners.

2025 World Championships
Mr Pound and Mr Akgul are now home from Barcelona after competing in the 2025 World Championships. Mr Akgul won his first round of sparring, unfortunately picking up an injury that left him unable to continue. Mr Pound made the Quarter finals in patterns and finished in the top 10 for destruction as an individual. He also picked up a bronze for his part in the adult male team patterns. A solid performance from both competitors.
