Theory
Blue Belt Meaning – Signifies the blue colour of the sky, towards which the plant grows as training in Tae Kwon Do progresses.
Yul Gok TUL - 38 MOVES
Is the pseudonym of the great philosopher and scholar Yi I (1536 – 1584), nicknamed the Confucius of Korea.
The 38 moves refer to his birth place on 38 degrees latitude, the diagram represents “scholar”.

Two step sparring

1. A 1. From right leg back L stance guarding block, front snap kick
D 1. From ready stance, right leg back ‘x’ fist block in walking stance
A 2. High section twin punch in walking stance
D 2. Left leg back wedging block in walking stance
C. Grab shoulders of opponent, left front knee to middle section, return to right leg back, L stance, guarding block

2. A 1. From right leg back L stance guarding block, right leg front snap kick
D 1. Left leg back low block in walking stance
A 2. Left hand back fist in L stance
D 2. Right leg back twin forearm block in walking stance
C. Pull the lead leg in, execute a middle section lead arm punch while shifting to L stance.
